Location in Southern Italy

Nestling within the heart of sundrenched southern Italy is the beautiful region of Puglia. Famous for its conical shaped houses or Trulli, this region boasts a wealth of fabulous scenery, exquisite cuisine, beautiful weather and friendly people.

The type of accommodation

In the very centre of the trulli region, 40 minutes from either coast and approximately 1 hour south of Bari, is Don Giulio,
a charming, detached country residence offering comfortable, self catering accommodation for up to eight people. Stroll amongst the almond, olive and fig trees in the expansive garden, or just relax with a glass of local wine on the veranda.

Inside the trulli you can escape the heat of the Italian summer as the thick walls of these ancient buildings were designed to keep cool in summer and warm in winter.

The location in the Puglian countryside

The tranquillity of the Italian countryside is unsurpassed here at Don Giulio and yet, just ten minutes drive away is the bustling little town of Noci, where you can find numerous restaurants, bars and shops as well as the fabulous historical centre (centro storico) which offers intriguing little streets and passages for you to explore.
