Travel to Don Giulio

Suggestions of travel to Don Giulio - Puglia, Southern Italy

Air travel to Puglia

There are a number of ways to get to Puglia from the UK, some direct, some a little more convoluted. The most direct route is using Ryanair from London, Stansted or Easy Jet now fly direct to Bari from Gatwick. This is also the cheapest if you live in the south of England. Ryanair fly to Brindisi and Bari, both of which are about an hour’s drive from Don Giulio. Slightly more expensive is British Airways.

Another option is to fly to Rome, Pisa, Naples or Milan and then catch an internal flight to Bari. Alitalia are the only company we have used for internal flights. If anyone has others to recommend, please email us.

You can also fly to Rome or Naples and drive to Puglia, which is approximately 5 hours from Rome and 3 from Naples. Jet2 fly to Rome from Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle and Leeds Bradford. Easyjet fly to Rome from Gatwick and Bristol. Easyjet also fly to Naples from Bristol, Edinburgh, Liverpool and both Gatwick and Stansted. Thomson fly to Naples from Manchester, Gatwick, Bristol, Newcastle, Glasgow, East Midlands and Birmingham.

If the journey is part of the holiday experience for you, then you can always drive down through France or catch the train, which is an option that we hope to be able to experience soon.
